Marhaba Salem Resort

We stayed as a family (4 pers., 11-53 Years) in Tunisia and are overwhelmed by this holiday: the hotel complex is large and very spacious. Everything is incredibly clean and well maintained, the cleaners are so friendly. The entire staff stands out with attention and friendliness! Everyone is so articulate. English is standard, many speak German well, everyone speaks three or four languages fluently here. At breakfast with self-service, the waiter brings the favorite coffee without being asked, the lifeguard carries the sun lounger to the desired place, the animators know all the names and preferences right away, the waiters at dinner and at the evening show know the drinks of the whole family by heart...
The garden of the complex is beautiful and very well maintained. There are many pools, partly salt water, with slides, a beautiful beach, the sea was gorgeous. We enjoyed massages and used the beautiful gym. Although our arrival was timed before check-in, we were allowed to use everything immediately, eat and drink. We had great rooms and full adult beds for the children as well. There are all drinks, cocktails, iced coffee, slush. The food in the many restaurants in the hotel was super delicious, fresh and varied. We all eat vegetarian and it was wonderful. Every day a salad buffet of the finest, freshly grilled, casseroles, Tunisian specialties and always a pizza station or pasta and the desserts first! And fruits in huge quantities!!! But our greatest happiness was the animation, which is completely lost in the hotel description: if you love dancing and zumba, this is the right place for you. The guys are doing a great job, they are professional dancers, and we took everything with us, from yoga on the beach to aqua gymnastics in the sea or in the pool, volleyball, darts, archery. The team is always in a good mood, working all day, always having fun, very attentive, but never intrusive. Really fine, educated, polite young people. At the evening shows they were able to really show what they can do, we had a lot of fun as a family and would like to thank Marco and his team in particular for everything!!! The children's disco was also fun for us. In the evenings there were folklore and fire shows, once a foam party on the beach! We also played tennis and table tennis. Water sports can be booked on site. Everything is to be paid by ec card or euro, an ATM directly in front of the hotel (we did not need a credit card). People have always sought the conversation, but we have never felt uncomfortable or harassed, not even our daughter at the age of 15. There were no mosquitoes at all; no problem with the drinking water. The weather was wonderful. Monastir Airport is 20 minutes away. There are taxis right in front of the hotel. Pharmacies are also within walking distance, you can get help at the hotel immediately. There is a safe in the room. We'll be back soon. If only because of the animation/ the animators. This hotel is the absolute happiness!

Very nice hotel, clean large rooms, beautiful grounds with great pools, clean large beach. The food is delicious with a large selection. Wonderful animation team. They put on a great program, multilingual. The staff, from the waiters and housekeepers to the reception, is always friendly.

For the 10th time I spent a week at the Hotel Marhaba Salem. I always experience the friendly and helpful receptionists, especially Fr. Mouna, the good and varied cuisine and the courteous, multilingual waiters in the restaurant and at the bars, the friendly cleaning staff and even the greeting gardeners. It was clean everywhere, especially the room and the bathroom. The tourist tax has been enormously high for two years without any noticeable improvement. I'll be back anyway.

It has now been 9 years that we have been coming to this hotel 3 times a year, and our happiness remains totally unchanged with each visit. Over the years, the staff members have become true friends.
A huge thank you to the management, to the cooks for the excellent meals, as well as to all the servers who take care of us, whether at the restaurant, at the bars, at the pool, or at the beach. We also do not forget the warm welcome from the front desk, the impeccable work of the housewives, and the dedication of the gardeners who maintain the grounds beautifully.
Every person we cross paths with is infinitely kind. This hotel has a soul, and it is thanks to its exceptional team. We will return again and again!

Great hotels for families! We stayed for one week, rooms cleaned every day, a variety of food so you never felt too "samey", kids entertained with the slides and activities on site! Lovelyto have the beach so close too🙂All the entertainment and bar staff were friendly and kind!

Like always i am back to my second home for another month .holiday is almost finished but i already booked for Christmas here .the stuff are making me feeling like home .starting from the reception who always welcome me with a lovley juice and plate of fruits in the room .Maysa the guest relation is just an asset for the hotel .restaurant stuff and food is always delicious and tasty .i adore my ice coffee made in the bar with love ❤️.room cleaner leila is an absolute angel she looks after me properly and the room is always decorated and clean .the hotel garden is beautiful and relaxing .defo is my second home and thank you for everything

We are here for the first time, for 12 days.The hotel has gradually inspired me more and more.At first I was rather skeptical, but wrongly so.The rooms are good! Of course, we Germans are very meticulous.. we have a room with a terrace, of course arm irons come in🙈 Our room is also close to the show stage, OF COURSE we listen to the show from the room in the evening! But despite small children, whom it also does not bother, we have no problem with it.The staff is very nice and accommodating. Whether at the bar, in the restaurant or the room service ladies.The food is also varied and delicious. I also think it's good that everyone can decide for themselves how much salt they want to have in their food.😊The tables are new / decorated differently every day ✨Every evening there is a new varied show from 20:15 clock from the super nice animators! The first hour Is just for the kids (Kids Show) my kids love it!They also love the Kids Club, which takes place every day by two women with new games / creative ideas.( Baking pizza, handicrafts, make-up for children, dancing, singing, etc..)The entertainers take care that daily activities games /dances / sports are made, for which they are bored ist.Es there was even a foam party on the beach this week🫧There are still so many things I could write that we like very much ... For the children it is a dream and that's why for us too!🥰

It was a nice complex clean and the staff friendly and helpful.
At dinner there were 2 rounds and there was not everything at the end.
There was always a program in the evening where there was a good mood.

This will be our third visit and I can't fault it. Staff are all first class. Housekeeping go above and beyond their duties. Always something to eat even for the fussiest! Yeah entertainment can get a bit samey but still very much appreciated!
Hopefully we get a fourth visit!!

We were there as a family with a child at the end of August / beginning of September. It was our second visit to this hotel.Our room was nice and we felt very comfortable.The cleaning staff was always friendly and reliable.The complex is well maintained and the food tastes good, but last year there were more 'special' offers, e.g. paella, we missed that this year.The staff at the bars and restaurants is very dedicated and friendly.I would like to especially highlight Ridha B. from the Beachbar, who has always done a very good job with a smile on his face, hardworking, very polite, courteous and forward-looking.In addition, we also noticed the waiter Amine H. very positively again from the beach bar and from the evening restaurant. With his friendly, child-like and humorous nature, he has made our holiday an experience for the second time.Thanks also to the animation team, the gardeners, the bathing supervisor, the reception staff and all those involved who do an incredibly great job every day.We would definitely come back!
